Dining table T35b by Pierre Chapo

€9,750.00

The Pierre Chapo T35B is an iconic, solid elm dining table designed by the famous French cabinetmaker Pierre Chapo in 1972. The table is known worldwide for its unique, geometric base with crossed legs and its refined woodworking.

The most striking element is the system of interlocking, crossed wooden legs. This not only creates a stable construction but also gives the table an architectural and sculptural appearance.

In contrast to the straight, sharp lines of the legs, the T35B features a thick, solid tabletop with softly rounded corners (often described as slightly oval or barrel-shaped).

Like most of Chapo's furniture, the table is crafted from high-quality elmwood, which is known for its warm color and striking, vibrant grain pattern.

The table is in good vintage condition with some small signs of use like on the legs where people tend to lean their feet against.
